Our mbira program includes both performance training and instrument crafting—giving learners a deeper connection to the music by building and tuning their own instruments. We offer coaching for a wide range of instruments including piano, guitar, marimba, mbira, violin, trumpet, saxophone, flute, clarinet, recorder, and more. Both traditional and modern instruments are covered.
Not necessarily. We provide access to instruments during sessions, though having your own can help with practice outside class. We also offer guidance on affordable options if you’re looking to buy.
