Our society was founded to recruit, nurture, and develop exceptional performing arts students and staff, building a global community that uplifts others through artistic excellence.
We are more than a learning centre. We are a dynamic hub of creativity and cultural pride. As a leading institution in music and dance education, we aim to create and share knowledge that enriches lives through rhythm, melody, and movement.

As a word leading centre of music excellence we aim to:
- Enhance our position as one of the world’s leading musical research and teaching societies and to measure our performance against highest international standards.
- Prepare students to live lives enriched by the musical arts and dance performances.
- To provide comprehensive programs for those pursuing professional careers in music and dance and a broad range of courses for those seeking liberal arts education.
- To serve as an educational and cultural resource for districts, provinces, local community and Zimbabwe as a whole.
